Yes. You may deploy the UDiBar server within your local network and establish a secure VPN connection for your external suppliers. With UDiBar installed on their computers, authorized suppliers can log in remotely and generate labels under your controlled environment.
All operations remain governed by your user permissions, approval workflow, and audit trail, ensuring full traceability and compliance with your quality system requirements.
No. UDI DI and UDI PI must be encoded according to their specified packaging levels. Each packaging level (e.g., unit, box, carton) is required to be created and managed as a separate record.
Once each level is properly defined and approved, users can simply click to generate and print the corresponding UDI label. This controlled workflow eliminates manual intervention and minimizes the risk of human error, while ensuring full traceability and compliance.
UDiBar enforces uniqueness by validating the UDI DI at each packaging level. Since every packaging level (e.g., unit, box, carton) must have its own distinct DI, UDiBar automatically checks whether a DI has already been used.
If a duplicated DI is detected—especially across different packaging levels—the system will block the entry and notify the user.
