Origins
EEG helps us gain a deeper understanding of human brain activity, including diagnosing, monitoring and studying a variety of non-brain structural lesions, and assessing the patient's state of consciousness. It is also useful for exploring the brain's operations in learning, memory and attention. Many start-up companies are also continuing to study and improve, making the detection of EEG signals more accurate.
However, in the past experience of communicating with customers, we learned that there is no simulator specifically designed for EEG on the market. Most customers will choose the more mature ECG simulator as a substitute for performing tests, but the fact is that these two kinds of signals vary greatly, so as design considerations.
Since the intensity of brain waves is only a few hundred microvolts and must be magnified approximately 10,000 times to be recognized, they are often susceptible to external interference or distortion due to noise. Therefore, SEEG 100E can output a 1µV tiny signal through sophisticated circuit design. It has a built-in EEG standard test circuit with 620kΩ / 4.7nF output impedance test to ensure that the simulation of brain waves is real enough. 9-channel automatic switching switches are also provided for individual channels, which also strengthens the functionality of SEEG 100E.
In addition, SEEG 100E can also be used as an EEG database player, providing frequency response adjustment function, and can play waveform files in PhysioNet EDF, TXT, and Binary formats, which is helpful for clinical waveform verification.
At the same time, we also provide a free Software Development Kit ( SDK ) , which allows users to develop automated testing software , flexibly expand testing capabilities, and reduce human errors that may result from repeated settings and operations. We can use SEEG 100E to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the EEGs, comply with international standards and product specification requirements.
